1.  Create a line of running stitch with thread A

2.  bring thread B up just under the first running stitch .

3.  Without stitching through the fabric lace thread B through stitch 1 from bottom to top

4.  Lace thread B through stitch 2 from top to bottom

5.  Continue in this pattern
